Join Honor on Tuesday 7th April or Thursday 9th April from 10am to 12:30pm and learn how to speak up and stand up for yourself using drama, games and dancing.
The workshop will be facilitated by Honor Carroll. Honor Caroll is a child and adolescent dramatherapist. She works primarily with schools, community support services and in private practice delivering group and individual dramatherapy sessions focused on mental health, trauma recovery and all aspects of child and adolescent development.
The aim of the workshop is to build confidence and assertiveness among the group and to support each young person to find their voice.

Through the use of drama, visuals and discussion the young people will be encouraged to participate fully and express themselves in a way that is accessible yet challenging.
Often, young people with disabilities find it difficult to determine and convey their feelings, opinions and experiences to others. This can result in behavioural issues or being overly agreeable in social settings. This workshop will give each young person the opportunity to explore their individual experience, opinions and feelings and share these in a way that is rewarding, challenging and fun.
