Congratulations to our Co-founder and CEO, Auveen Bell, on being shortlisted for IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year, ‘Social Entrepreneur’ category.
Auveen is the driving force behind the organisation’s direction and growth. Having co-founded the organisation at her kitchen table in 2010 based on a need within her own home, it has now grown under her guidance into an organisation that delivers the Blossom Personal Empowerment Programme (PEP) to young people with intellectual disabilities aged 14 to 20.
Auveen’s driving passion, that young people with ID should have the same opportunities as those without a disability, is at the heart of Blossom Ireland. For a life like any other has become the core tenet of Blossom’s vision and is what Auveen is constantly thriving for. This is a fantastic achievement, so well deserved and we are very proud! #BWOTY19 We are also wishing good luck to all the nominees in all categories. Winners will be revealed on Monday 25th November.
