In October we went to Beyond Limits 2019. Organised by the Ombudsman for Children’s Office, Beyond Limits was all about amplifying the voices of young people with disabilities.
It was the first of a kind event and we were delighted to have a stand to communicate about our programme and network with other great organisations and participants.
It was a great opportunity for Blossom Ireland to exhibit at Beyond Limits 2019. We met great people and made some great connections!

We also had the chance to attend the different sessions and listen to amazing speakers! We were moved by the stories and we left out more inspired than ever. #BeyondLimits19 showed all of us that irrespective of disability we all have ability.

Our Peer Mentors Alex and Howard also had the chance to talk and take a picture with 4 x Paralympic Gold Medalist Dr. Michael McKillop. And yes those are the real gold medals on the picture!
And this is not to forget Conor who had his picture taken with the very talented Julian Benson.
And what a finish with a live performance of One Republic I Lived by the National Youth Orchestra, Bluestack Choir Donegal,Le Cheil and St Paul Special Needs School Cork!
