We’re aiming to raise €100,000. So far we’ve raise €84,200.
Dear Supporters, Dear Donors, Dear Friends,
I sat down to write an appropriate thank you letter and was immediately struck by how inadequate the language of thanks can be so I thought I would instead share how you have made us feel.
As well as joyful, your support for our BLOSSOM IRELAND urgent appeal made us feel HUMBLED, THANKFUL, BLESSED, HOPEFUL, AMBITIOUS, EMPOWERED and utterly EMPASSIONED AND MOTIVATED to continue our vital work with young people with intellectual disabilities.
It’s a tough time for all and you are no doubt dealing with, and juggling, some issues of your own; not just daily life but daily life disrupted by a global pandemic…
Despite this, you stepped forward with a helping hand for us at Blossom Ireland. You read our request for a dig-out and you dug-in behind us. The result is that we, the young people and their families we work with are feeling utterly awe-struck and uplifted by the power of your kindness.

To all of you who fundraised, gave a % of profits, sponsored one of our courses, gifted or gave an hour of your salary to us – THANK YOU!
To all of you who organised a festive challenge to fundraise, wore a hideous Christmas jumper, swam in sub-zero temperatures – THANK YOU!
We asked for your help to raise €100,000 and you responded loudly and in the most humbling of ways. We have reached an awesome €83,300 of our target and we are stunned by your generosity of spirit as well as actual giving.
These funds will ensure the continued delivery of our vital, life-enhancing programme but also help us develop and adapt our services to the new situation we all live in. Thanks to your generosity, we will be able to we reach more young people with intellectual disabilities aged 15 -25 around Ireland.
Our final push is on and we are truly hopeful that we can reach our goal – each day brings new generosity and we are inching towards €100,000. If you can share our final rallying cry with friends and family who can help, we would hugely appreciate it. If you have raised funds and not yet sent them, we would love to add them to our current total and reach our goal by the end of February.
Most of all, we want to thank you for your immense moral and financial support, for the feelings we have experienced as a result of your giving.
